Essential Question:

Convergent thinking questions: How Why In what ways Eg: Why was Richard III considered an evil king?
Divergent thinking questions: Imagine Suppose Predict If...Then... Eg: How might life in the year 2100 differ from today?
Evaluative thinking questions: Defend Judge Justify Eg: What do you thing of capital punishment for drug dealers?

Brainstorm how to answer your essential question by creating supporting questions. Use
the cues to develop questions that will help you focus your research. You don't need to use every cue. Your questions should change and develop as you research. You may need to rewrite your essential question to reflect the direction your research takes you.
