Online Resources

Online Resources are password protected databases that you can access 24/7 from school or home. You can get the URL, username and password from Mrs. Bowen, your librarian, Mrs. Rice, the Library Assistant, or your teacher. These resources work like a search engine but contain information that is not available for free on the World Wide Web.

To Access these Online Resources from Home

  • Please contact the library staff for the URL, user name and passwords for our online services.
  • The start page for The Gale Group will read Infotrac and then ask for a username and password.

  • Encyclopædia Britannica Online School Edition will ask for the username and password the first time you log on at a computer. After that, the home page will always come up without asking for the logon information.
