Stephanie Taylor
Teacher Librarian, HBUHSD
Ms. Taylor was born and raised in Orange County. She always knew she wanted to be a teacher and when she got her first job at 16 in the Newport Beach Public Library her career plans were set. She would be a teacher librarian, combining her love of children and books.
Although her job has evolved into teaching the use of research tools, she still loves to talk to students about books. Just ask her!

Born and raised in Orange County, California, Mrs. Rice graduated from Edison High School in Huntington Beach where she grew up. She earned an Associate of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from El Camino College in Torrance. While working in the library at Del Amo Elementary School in Carson she attended Santa Ana College and received her Library Technical Assistant Certificate.
She has worked and volunteered in various public and school libraries before coming to Westminster High School. She is currently working toward earning a B. A. in English at California State University, Fullerton. Her long-term goal is to earn a Masters degree in Library and Information Science.
Mrs. Rice has two children and loves working at the WHS Library. In her spare time she enjoys going to school, bowling, computers, country music and the oldies, reading non-fiction and the classics, golf, traveling and letter writing. |
